The packaging that the item arrived in was HEAVILY DAMAGED. I was worried that the item would be in a similar state. Fortunately, it didn’t appear to be damaged externally, and it’s been used w/o issue ever since it was opened. In the future I recommend a different box.

Great product, just what you would expect from Logitech.

Only one downside, I have not found a way to adjust the contrast on the keyboard time and date display, under some lighting it is hard to read.

The MX 5500 is a very well designed product. The keys are light to the touch and the programable feaures are a delight. I had a minor problem with the cursor that tended to disappear at times. I called Customer Service and their rep worked with me using the Control Panel to resolve the matter in less than two minutes.

I truly love the MX 5500. I think Amazon and Logitech should advertise it more.
